Did you know that our Father in heaven is a Father that blesses divine order.  Divine order in the our personal lives, our homes, the church of Jesus Christ and in business.

I recommend a short prayer to you

 Lord Jesus, my family needs healing and restoration, I humbly ask you to work in my heart and the hearts of my family as I read the contents of this blog.

As you read and study the Word of God, you will no doubt discover a pattern of how God originally intended to operate through our families. Divine order, as established in the Word of God, is the place where God commands His blessing.  I will share with you information I was directed by the Holy Spirit to share with a family I ministered to.  This family is in the healing and restoration process.  As you read below, simply allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you in the specific area where your family needs healing and restoration.

This is the season for the restoration of the family, and I declare and decree that the healing and restoration is yours and it begins today!

Divine Order is Key to Healing and Restoration

The most powerful word picture of divine order I’ve ever seen in scripture is found in Psalm 133:1-3.  Let’s take a look at this passage of scripture.

How wonderful, how beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along!  It’s like costly anointing oil flowing down head and beard, Flowing down Aaron’s beard, flowing down the collar of his priestly robes.  It’s like the dew on Mount Hermon flowing down the slopes of Zion. Yes, that’s where God commands the blessing, ordains eternal life. Psalms 133:1-3 (MSG)

This passage of scripture speaks directly to the fact that God commands his blessing toward groups that honor His Divine Order.

It’s amazing to me that David is the person the Holy Spirit inspired to record this truth about our heavenly Father.  To put it bluntly, David led one of the most dysfunctional families recorded in scripture.  In light of this fact, this passage of scripture gives us a huge dose of hope for each of our families.  If David received this revelation from the Lord, surely as our families invite Jesus, the Prince of Peace and Unity, into every area of our homes, surely we can experience God commanding His blessing over our homes.  By the way, once God commands His blessing over your home, healing and restoration are guaranteed to follow.  I am a living witness to this truth, which is why I’m writing this post.

Let’s take a look at a second passage of scripture that helps us understand that God has an established order that we need to honor.

Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers set up by previous generations Proverbs 22:28 (NLT)

In the Old Testament, this passage of scripture refers to land or realms of authority and the boundaries, set by God, in the natural.  The twelve tribes of Israel were all given specific plots of land to occupy by God Himself.  This passage is a commandment not to rearrange the Divine Order or realms of authority God established.  Even though this commandment does not apply to the Church of Jesus Christ today, there is an eternal principle we can glean from it.   As we call on God to heal our personal families, church families and business families, we must be willing to stay within the realm of authority God has assigned to us in this season.  Please notice that entering realms of authority beyond that which God has assigned to us, is synonymous with defrauding the people around you.  This helps us understand that it is not the will of God for children to overstep their God given realm of authority to correct their parents, nor sheep in the body of Christ to correct under-shepherds, nor employees to attempt to rebuke Managers, Directors, CEO’s etc…

Take a close look at the graphic below.  The root of all conflict is rebellion.  Primarily, rebellion against God’s pattern of Divine Order.  Don’t believe it?  Consider this…Satan is the original rebel.  Adam and Eve were pure an undefiled until they entered into a covenant or agreement with Satan simply by obeying Satan rather than God.  As a result, they lost the dominion God gave them and they acquired Satan’s rebellious nature.  The final thought, Adam didn’t have children until he acquired the rebellious nature of Satan through an ungodly covenant.  Then Adam and Eve began to give birth to rebellious children…on and on it goes until this day.  My Apostle says all the time that we can only produce what we are.  It’s TRUE!

The graphic depicts the complexity of the sinful nature of mankind.  More often than not we attempt to help people by dealing with the branches and leaves instead of the trunk and root of the issue.  This is understandable because the Word of God makes it clear that in our humanity, we judge according to the outward appearance, but God is the only one who can rightly judge according to the condition of the heart.  This makes perfect sense because God is the only one that knows the root cause of every issue in our personal lives and that which eats away at the unity in our families.

After looking at the graphic above, if you truly knew the root issue behind the difficult relationships in your life, would that give you the incentive to be more compassionate and loving toward others?  For example, say you were a child who’s father, although always in the home, didn’t know how to love you the way you needed.  It’s likely that you’ve spent much of your life not only seeking that love, affirmation, etc… but you’ve also spent quite a bit of time blaming your dad for not loving you properly.  Well, what if you knew that your father was never loved properly when he was a child?  If it’s true we can only produce what we are, do you think knowing this information would give you a different perspective on why your dad didn’t love you as you thought he should have?

I invite you to ponder of the following passage of scripture.

Fear-of-God will be all his joy and delight. He won’t judge by appearances, won’t decide on the basis of hearsay.  He’ll judge the needy by what is right, render decisions on earth’s poor with justice. His words will bring everyone to awed attention. A mere breath from his lips will topple the wicked.  Isaiah 11:3-4 (MSG)

Remember Psalm 133 above, the beginning stated how good and pleasant it is when we get along with one another.  I often ask Jesus why it never bothered Him to be around such sinful people?  Really, I ask the question because it’s sometimes a struggle for me.  The scripture above is the answer Jesus gave me.  Jesus was not self-righteous, but assumed a humble posture and the nature of a servant.  Jesus never judged people based on what He clearly saw in the natural nor what others told Him about the person.  He only judged according to what His Father in heaven told Him was right.

Quite frankly, because I’ve really tried hard time and time again without success, I know for a fact that, in ourselves, we don’t have the power to love people unconditionally.  Not to mention the fact that we only see and know things in part.  However, if we’re risky enough to give up our controlling sinful natures and be willing to yield control to the Holy Spirit of God, He will empower us to love just like Jesus did.  We won’t do it as perfectly as Jesus did; but it will be enough to provoke God to command His blessing over our families, opening to flood gates of healing and restoration.

How we handle relationship challenges determine the level of peace we experience in our own personal lives. The level of peace each one of us has personally then determines the level of peace we then transfer to our surroundings.  Trials, tough relationships and tough situations either maker you better or bitter.  They either drive you to God or run you away from God.

Self-Righteousness and Unforgiveness Will Hinder the Healing and Restoration

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?”  Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.  “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.  As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him.  Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.  “The servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’  The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.  “But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.  “His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’  “But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt.  When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened.  “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.  Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’  In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.  “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”  Matt 18:21-35 (NIV)

Inviting Jesus Into Our Families

The Lord Jesus not only is interceding for the success of your family, but He is also willing to fight for the survival and abundant life of your family.

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.  He will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God his Savior.  Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah  Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.  Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.  Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.  Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty– he is the King of glory.  Psalms 24:3-10 (NIV)

How to invite God’s Divine Order Into Your family

• Be rooted and grounded in the love the Holy Spirit empowers you to walk in
• Grow more and more sturdy and stable in your faith in God the Father and the Lord the Jesus Christ
• Resolve to be willing to submit to God’s Divine Order, to respect the authority of the Lord Jesus over your family and complete the good works of God’s Kingdom.

I recommend a closing prayer to you.

Holy Spirit of God, you know the exact need in my family without me saying it.  I ask, in the name of Jesus, that you bring restoration to me first, then to my entire family.  I ask that you build on the ashes of all that has happened so that Jesus and God the Father are glorified through my family.  I humbly ask this is Jesus’ name.
